He wanted to, Urn is already done. He just didn't rush Vessel 1st item probably because his team is already down in NW and he needs dmg+survive item (Witch Blade) and Linken, since Phoenix is a hero that has its own item build and Void pos 5 cannot be expected to be a defensive support that itemizes to protect cores. I think they were just outdrafted in game 1, Nigma had no damage at all.
